The links in the articles below represent a wide variety of information and resources to help further your organization’s growth. Most of them are also cited throughout the text without. All the sections include explanations of what the links are and have added context for them.

This is not an exhaustive inventory of all things related to the Hacks, SSPs, or nonprofit management but it should get you started. For more, learn to use Google Advanced Search which allows you to search by file type and top-level domain names – which can shorten your search time.

This website was created to be a living guide for people working in harm reduction, things change and people are constantly designing new systems, processes and guidance. If you know of something we should include here on the site or in the resources folders please let us know.

We do not claim that this is an exhaustive set of strategies, shortcuts, or tips for running an SSP. What we do suggest is that Harm Reduction Hacks offers down-to-earth, practical information for being a better leader, starting and running an SSP, and providing syringe access services. We feel we can say this with confidence because the Hacks are based on interviews with, and the experiences of, literally generations of people who have been doing harm reduction work.
